It started with a simple question: What would happen if you gave six people a microphone and asked them to tell the truth about Ana Sassin? On the 16th evening of this October, Cinema Victoria invites you to find out.

LADY KILLER: THE ROAST OF ANA SASSIN is an evening of stories, sharp tongues and wit, where friendship meets a graceful character assassination. Ana gets the spotlight. The six guests get the microphone. And for one evening, nobody gets to have the last word.

What is a roast night?

A roast night is an evening of comedy, storytelling, and playful insults, where a person or group becomes the subject of jokes, teasing, and outrageous stories. Don’t be afraid, the person being roasted is in on the joke and can take the teasing in good humour. Friends, collaborators, and guests get their moment at the microphone, making the evening a mix of affectionate insults, embarrassing stories, unexpected compliments, and plenty of laughter.

The person being roasted is known as the roastee, while the host is traditionally called the roastmaster.

In short: it’s an evening where love comes disguised as insults.
